Caliper spacers allow you to use calipers made for 1-1/4" thick rotors with lighter .750" or .810 rotors.

Brake pad heat shields are laser cut from .100" thick mica. Mica is not heat conductive so it reduces heat transfer from the pad to the caliper piston.
