OFFSET - TEMPLATE
OFFSET - OUTLAW

Our newest version of the offset chassis is the next evolution of the original Howe offset chassis built in 1981. These chassis provide lower total and maximum left side weight. Offset chassis are often referred to as “straight rail” chassis because of the right frame running straight from the front frame to the tail section. On the newest designs, the tail sections have been narrowed on the right side to make the frame rail parallel with the
chassis centerline. This chassis is available in a “Template” and an “Outlaw” form.
Either version is available with a front or rear, right side mounted panhard bar mount.
TEMPLATE - FT
The template version has a 2” taller cage to accept the 47”- 48” roof height template or ABC body. 2" x 3" tail section rails are standard with the left tail section rail straight. The narrow rail width requires fuel cells that are no wider than 32".

OUTLAW - FL
The FL version of the offset chassis is suited for tracks with the few rule limitations or the Midwest “Alliance” rules. While the main roll cage and door bars remain 1-3/4" x .095, many of the bracing bars are .065. with 4130 chromoly chassis using some .049 wall tubing.
These chassis are capable of over 64% left side at only 2600 pounds depending on
components. The roll cage is 39-1/2" from bottom to top, 2" lower than the template
version.
