Where not limited by rules, there is no better set-up than the Quarter Master reverse starter clutch package. The one piece aluminum/magnesium alloy bellhousing is designed with the bottom contoured closely around the 9-1/4" starter ring gear for maximum ground clearance. The back side of the bell is machined flat to accept Howe style motor mounts. The rear mount starter location provides unlimited oil pan clearance and increased header clearance. The transmission flange is machined to accept T-10, Muncie, Saginaw, Jerico, and Saenz transmissions with the GM bolt pattern. This set-up can be used with either the 7.25" clutch of the 5.5". The 5.5" 3 disc clutch with starter ring weighs only 11.9 lbs.!
