Many original Ed Howe have been adopted as industry standard. One example of these parts is the Howe motor mount. These same motor mounts that were originally made for stock frames will still fit stock and tube frames alike. Both front and rear mounts are made from 1/4" HR steel. All of the holes are punched at once with a single die to insure the proper alignment of all holes. The rear mount can be mounted between the block and bell, or behind the bell.

The weld in motor mounts for stock frames are also made with 1/4" steel. The 3603 has 9/16" slotted holes to allow 3" of front to rear adjustment and 1" right to left. The 3591 also has 9/16" slotted holes but turned 90 degrees to give 3" of adjustment front to back and no adjustment right to left.
