The SS remains our current suspension design but with more options available. It is made for use with the soft spring suspension package. This frame has many feature wins and championships around the country and in ASA Late Model, CRA, PASS, ACT and ARCA Truck. This is a strut style front end with coilover springs and a 1 piece or splined adjustable rate sway bar. ES version of the SS front is similar to the SS but made for equal length lower control arms. The ES is intended for rules that do not allow suspension offset (such as ACT). Either frame can be installed on an Offset or Perimeter chassis with rack & pinion steering.

SS Options and Variations:

Original - Uses adjustable upper a-frames for infinite camber and caster adjustment with slotted mounts to adjust anti-dive and roll center.

Cross Shaft - Uses any traditional cross shaft a-frame but is recommended with the new Howe Blue Max a-frames. Anti-dive is adjusted by using different offset keys in the slotted plate stye mounts. This design allows different length a-frames to be used and the camber is set with spacers. Caster is adjusted by using a-frames with slotted cross shafts.

OP-15 Adjustable Lower Mounts - A slotted mount is installed in the crossmember with a threaded adjuster that allows you to precisely move the lower mount up to an inch .

OP-09 Raised Cross Member - This is a variation on the SS with alterations that allow you to take full advantage of set-ups that use coilover bump stops. It allows for extension suspension travel with increased ground clearance and corrected steering angles. This frame is currently only available with cross shaft type upper a-frame mounts and require ez bump tie rod ends for correct bump steer.

OP-10 Fixed Sway Bar Mount Tube - This option locates the sway bar 12” from the center of the lower ball joints in a fixed mounted tube. This adds stiffness to the front end but eliminates adjustability.

OP-08 Conventional Coil - This is an SS suspension made to use 5” conventional coil springs seperate from the shocks.

OP- RT Road Race - This is a beefed up variation of the ES with added supports for stiff suspension and rough road. The standard version of this frame is made for cross shaft upper a-frame mounts with built in anti-dive with no slots for adjustment unless requested.
